Bruce Johnson has been interested in photography since grade school. Since early 2020, Bruce started photographing murals in Tampa as a self-assigned project. He has photographed over 300 Tampa murals as of early 2024. In addition to working with the Tampa Art Alliance on “Vibrant Walls”, he is also working with the University of South Florida Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) on a class titled “Communicating Through Art: Murals of Tampa”.
Bruce is passionate about making people more aware of Tampa’s murals and messages created by the artists. His attentive documentation of these cultural assets is core to the success of Vibrant Walls.
