Southern Arts Relief & Recovery Fund Now Accepting Applications
In response to the devastating impact of Hurricanes Helene and Milton, the Southern Arts Relief & Recovery Fund is now open for applications. These grants start at $500 and provide vital support to help artists rebuild. Locally supported by the Gobioff Foundation.

GRANTS / FUNDS
- Arts Council of Hillsborough County has compiled resources for artists including emergency fund options. Take a moment to complete a Rapid Damage Assessment Form for Individual Artists and Performing Groups to aid agencies in possibly allocating more assistance.
- The Craft Emergency Relief Fund Their emergency relief grants help artists impacted by a disaster.
To apply in English or Spanish - Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) is available to businesses and residents whose employment or self-employment was lost or interrupted as a direct result of the hurricane and are not eligible for regular state or federal Reemployment Assistance benefits. To file a claim, go to www.FloridaJobs.org and select “File a Claim” or call 1-800-385-3920 (Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).

Arts organizations that qualify can apply for FEMA through the Public Assistance Online Grants Portal. Applicants can use the Public Assistance Grants Portal to register for and update an applicant profile, submit a “Request for Public Assistance,” and upload documents. https://grantee.fema.gov/EventOpenRequestPeriod

NIVF: National Independent Venue Relief Fund
Administered by the National Independent Venue Foundation (NIVF), a 501(c)(3) organization, the NIVF Emergency Relief Fund (ERF) is dedicated to providing economic relief to independent, live performance venues and promoters, both for-profit and nonprofit, across the United States experiencing a critically severe emergency due to circumstances beyond their control.Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed for eligibility as received throughout the year. Funding will be subject to availability and distributed according to a grant agreement. Please note NIVA membership is not a prerequisite for applying to NIVF Emergency Relief Fund. https://www.nivf.org/erf
